Down Syndrome Ireland’s National Advisory Council (NAC) comprises 6 adults with Down syndrome – Sinéad, Claire, Orla, Chrissie, Conor and Ross. The Council is the voice of people with Down syndrome and it represents Down Syndrome Ireland’s members. DSI regularly seeks the advice and opinions of the NAC on issues that affect people with Down syndrome in Ireland. The NAC meets monthly to discuss areas of interest such as advocacy, education, employment and mental health, employment and mental health.
