EDSA has asked their members to show people with Down syndrome taking part in activities together with others. Starting on 1 March, we show 21 examples from across Europe to make it clear that no one should be left behind!
AIPD, as part of the paths to autonomy, organizes summer holidays aimed at the growth in autonomy of youngsters and adults with Down syndrome.
Holidays are organized for small groups because one of the objectives is the involvement of the youngsters in the choices and management of the holiday, from luggage to travel, from shopping to preparing meals. They take place in normal residential facilities (hotels, apartments for rent).
No one should be left behind.
