The UIA is a research institute founded in 1907 to promote and document the work of international associations. Its primary task is the collection and dissemination of information on international associations. European Down Syndrome Association (EDSA) is described in the UIA’s Yearbook of International Organizations. With absolutely no charge, fee, or obligation. Read more here. The UIA also promotes the work of international associations by organizing educational activities, such as the Round Table. It is the only activity for which UIA charges a – nominal – fee.
Thanks to the support of our partners we are able to offer a solid educational programme for a low fee. All other elements of the programme are complimentary. Delegates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and expenses.
An overview of the programmes is below. For full details, please see the Round Table website (roundtable.uia.org).
