On 28–29 May 2026, EDSA joined partners from Italy, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, France, Hungary, Croatia and Türkiye in Rome for the second in-person meeting of the Valueable Network, a European initiative dedicated to increasing employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share experiences, discuss future priorities and strengthen collaboration between employers, training providers and disability organisations. Since its launch, the network has helped hundreds of people with intellectual disabilities access training, internships and employment opportunities in the hospitality sector. It also highlighted the continued growth of the Valueable Network and the positive impact it is having across Europe.
By promoting inclusive employment and supporting businesses committed to diversity, the network is helping more people with intellectual disabilities access meaningful work, develop new skills and participate fully in society.
